This policy explains what information ScaleBySalman (“we”, “us”) may collect when you use scalebysalman.com and how it is used.

Information the tools process

Calculators and other tools run in your browser. Values you type into a tool are used to produce your result on your device and are not sent to us by the tool itself.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, set up through the Google Site Kit plugin, to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and which countries and devices visitors use. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies and collects information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and pages viewed. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. The Final Grade Calculator also sends a usage event to Google Analytics that records only that a calculation was completed and a general result category (for example, “achievable” or “not reachable”). It never includes the numbers, grades or assignment names you enter. We also use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in search results.

Server logs and cookies

Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, request time and browser type) for security and operation. WordPress and related plugins may set cookies that are necessary for the site to function.

Advertising

We may show advertising in the future. If we do, advertising partners such as Google may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, and this policy will be updated. See our advertising disclosure.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and can use browser tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold; contact us through the contact page.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
